Has Trophy Farming Got Easier Since the New Trophy System?

With the 2026 update, Brawl Stars brought in a completely new Trophy system, replacing seasons and usual trophy boxes. But does that mean farming trophies has become easier? Here’s my take based on experience and player feedback.

Has Trophy Farming Become Easier with the New Trophy System?

As a long‑time Brawl Stars player, I always enjoyed pushing trophies – yet it could be frustrating due to resets and the old trophy box system. In the February 2026 update, Supercell removed seasons and introduced a new progression model. So I wanted to know: Does this make trophy farming easier or not?

The New Trophy System Explained

Trophy Seasons and Trophy Boxes are gone. Instead, there’s now a persistent trophy progression. You push your Brawler to 1000 Trophies and then earn Prestige Trophies that stay permanently.

Matchmaking: Skill Over Trophies

One major change is the introduction of a hidden MMR system for matchmaking. Rather than pairing purely based on trophy count, you’re now more likely to face players of similar skill – which in theory should make farming more balanced and less frustrating.

My Experience With Farming

In actual play, trophy farming *does feel smoother* below 1000 trophies. You don’t lose huge parts of progress as often, and consistent play tends to pay off. However, above 1000 trophies, the challenge remains real. Higher Prestige players can still face long queues or tougher matches, making steady farming difficult. Some players even report that matchmaking can sometimes make farming slower than before.

Conclusion

So, is trophy farming easier now? Yes… and no. For many players below 1000, it’s more forgiving and fair thanks to MMR matching. But for those climbing higher, it still requires skill, consistency, and sometimes patience. Overall, it’s a positive shift, but not a simple ticket to easy trophies.
