How the Prestige System changes Brawl Stars

The new Prestige system shifts the meta and changes which Brawlers dominate in matches and in the quiz.

How the Prestige System changes Brawl Stars

Since the February 2026 update, Brawl Stars introduced a new Prestige system. I tried it and quickly realized: it not only changes gameplay but also significantly affects the meta.

Playing longer at high levels

Previously, players would drop back to lower trophy ranges after a few matches. With Prestige, players stay at high levels longer, facing more strong opponents.

For me, this means adjusting tactics. Aggressive play is riskier, defensive planning becomes more important.

Top Brawlers become more relevant

S-Tier Brawlers like Sirius and Cordelius appear more often. In matches, I need to know their abilities and supers to avoid being caught off guard.

In the Brawl Mystery quiz, these meta Brawlers also appear more frequently. Knowing their colors, roles, and abilities gives a clear advantage.

Teamplay matters more

With Prestige, teams face other experienced players more often. Coordination and team skills are key.

I’ve learned that even small synergies with Max or Tara can have huge impacts on the outcome of a match.

Conclusion

The Prestige system makes Brawl Stars more strategic. Knowing strong Brawlers, focusing on teamplay, and adjusting tactics ensures success – both in matches and in the quiz.
