The February 2026 Update (Update 66 – "Prestige") is one of the biggest in Brawl Stars history. Alongside two new Brawlers, the entire trophy and matchmaking system gets a complete overhaul. Here's everything at a glance – and what it means for Brawl Mystery.
The historic milestone Brawler. Sirius summons the shadows of defeated enemies and sends them back into the fight. Unlockable via the "Sirius Release Challenge" (own all 99 other Brawlers + win 1 match each) or via Brawler Boxes.
Part of the "Pyramid Quest" theme. Najia fights with Egyptian-inspired snakes and stacking poison damage. Especially effective against Tanks and in zone-based game modes.
The seasonal Trophy reset system is replaced by Brawler Prestige. Reach 1,000 trophies with a Brawler once and they're stored permanently – no more resets! Prestige Ranks 1–3 grant exclusive cosmetics and a unique Neon Brawler title at Prestige 3.
Matchmaking now uses a hidden MMR value that measures real skill – independent of trophy count. High-skill players now face opponents of similar ability more often. Names are displayed as "?" from Prestige 2 onwards.
Time-limited Rush Events offer bonus rewards for wins. Players activate Rush Mode manually before joining a match. Rewards include: Coins, Power Points, Chaos Drops, Starr Drops and bonus trophies.
A battle royale mode with power-ups, weapons and vehicles. Adds more variety to the classic Showdown format and appeals to a broader player base.
Mythic Gears are removed (players receive full compensation). Instead, Buffies for classic Brawlers are strengthened. A new claw machine lets you win Buffies – the first attempt each day is free.
Season 48 (March 2026): "Sands of Time" – desert-themed content to match Najia. Season 49 (April 2026): "Dragons and Fairies" – a fairy-tale fantasy theme.
Crow gets two new Gadgets: "Instapoison" (instantly trigger all poison damage + shield) and "Slowing Toxin" (kunai slows and poisons). Glowy's Super during Hypercharge is now 360 degrees with 20% increased damage taken for targets.
