๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Pixel Mode โ€“ The Complete Guide

Strategy ยท Tips ยท Common Mistakes ยท Example Puzzles ยท Win Faster

The Pixel Mode puts your visual memory to the hardest test: a heavily pixelated image of a Brawler โ€“ and you must figure out who it shows. With each wrong guess the image becomes slightly clearer, but you only have 8 attempts. This guide shows you how to recognize Brawlers from just a few pixels.

How does Pixel Mode work?

You start with an extremely pixelated image of a random Brawler. The image becomes progressively sharper โ€“ but only when you guess wrong. Your goal: identify the Brawler before the image is fully revealed, using as few attempts as possible.

Unlike Classic Mode, there's no attribute table as feedback โ€“ the image is your only clue. That makes Pixel Mode especially challenging.

Strategy: Reading a pixel image

1. Analyze the color palette

Even at maximum pixelation, colors are visible. Every Brawler has a characteristic base color:

2. Check silhouette and shape

As the image clears slightly, you can make out outlines. Pay close attention to:

3. Background context colors

Official Brawler portraits often have colored backgrounds matching their rarity: orange tones for Legendary, blue tones for Super Rare etc. This can quickly indicate a rarity category.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Browse all Brawler portraits in the Brawler Library before playing. Your visual memory trains fastest through active viewing โ€“ not just playing.
